A couple months back my dearest friend and I embarked on a fitness “challenge” to see who could lose the most weight by August 1. I put the word challenge in quotations because we are two of the least competitive people I can think of … with each other at least.
We talked about it over coffee (with skim milk and no sugar) now and then and emailed and face booked back and forth, but largely – it was what it always is between us… Far too relaxed to actually amount to much. Some good did come of it though…

For me – I lost 8.5 pounds, started taking my own exercise a bit more seriously, have changed my eating patterns and habits to be far more healthful and have seen the rewards in better sleep, great skin and much more energy.

… I must give props where they are due though. Dara crushed me in this challenge. I believe she’s lost in the neighbourhood of 20 pounds (correct me if it’s more Dara!) and looks AMAZING. Her [second]baby body is bouncing back and I just know that means she’s going to be hotter than me at my wedding next year.

All I can pray for now is that she gets preggo with baby #3… otherwise I’m going to have to find a really hideous dress for her to wear!

Way to go Dara … Even though the challenge is officially over, let’s keep motivating each other – after a celebratory glass or two of wine though okay?

" I hired Elizabeth to help me achieve my personal fitness goals. She was proactive about contacting me to ensure I was on track, and always made herself available to answer any questions or address any concerns I had. Friendly and highly professional, I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone of any fitness level! "
